Children's Privacy Notice

Innovera Kids is intended for children ages 4–12, used alongside a parent or guardian. Lessons and quests are written for children; the account, the settings and the data controls are written for grown-ups.

A child cannot create an account. Every account is created by an adult who must affirm on screen: “I am the parent or legal guardian, I am at least 18 years old, and I consent to creating and managing this family account.” The account cannot be created unless that box is checked.

Consent method implemented: on-screen parent/guardian affirmation checkbox at account creation. We store the consenting user's ID, the timestamp, the notice version shown, and this method. This is an on-screen parental affirmation — it is not a fully verified COPPA parental-verification process such as a signed form, government ID check, or payment-card verification.

• ✦An explorer nickname, only if you choose to create one. It is optional and you write it, not your child.
• ✦An age range you may select — 4–6, 7–9, or 10–12. Optional. We do not ask for a birthdate or an exact age.
• ✦Which lessons, quests, activities and steps have been finished, and when.
• ✦Answers chosen from the multiple-choice, counting and tap-to-color activities we provide.
• ✦Badges, Sparks and certificate progress.

We do not ask a child for their full name, birthdate, school, address, phone number, email, or photo. The certificate name your child types is kept only in your own browser for printing — it is not sent to our servers.

Only to make the learning work: saving progress so it isn't lost, showing the right next lesson, awarding badges, and letting a parent see how their explorer is doing. We do not build advertising profiles.

• ✦Stripe — only if you make a purchase; payment details go to Stripe directly.
• ✦Lovable AI Gateway (OpenAI text-to-speech model) — receives only Nova's and Nex's scripted story lines so we can generate their voices. Nothing a child types or says is sent, and no recording is ever made.

• ✦No targeted or behavioral advertising to children.
• ✦No selling or renting of child or family information.
• ✦No public child profiles, usernames, leaderboards or sharing of a child's work.
• ✦No microphone or voice recording, no camera or photo uploads.
• ✦No precise location and no contact-list access.
• ✦No chat, comments, messaging or any child-to-child communication.

Sign in and open Parent Data Controls. From there you can see the stored family profile, download a readable copy of your family's progress and responses, correct the nickname or age range, and delete information. Deletion asks you to confirm and re-verify before anything is removed, and it is all-or-nothing — it either completes fully or nothing changes.

Use “Revoke parental consent” on the Parent Data Controls page. Revoking marks your consent record as withdrawn, deletes your child's learning information from our database, and clears Innovera data saved in that browser. Your parent login stays until you also choose to delete the account.

• ✦Accounts that are never confirmed: deleted after 30 days.
• ✦Child learning information: deleted when a parent completes a verified deletion request or revokes consent.
• ✦Families inactive for 24 months: flagged for parent notification and later deletion. Destructive automatic deletion is not enabled; the owner runs and reviews this report manually.
• ✦Consent records: kept while the account exists, as proof that consent was given, and removed with the account.
• ✦Payment records: retained by our payment processor under their own financial and tax obligations, outside our deletion tools.
